RADIO COMMUNICATION

This initial course draws general guidelines for the use of Radio Communication in civil aviation. The aim of this lesson is to learn how to formulate clear communications as well as understand better the incoming radio calls, in order to improve communication efficiency, in respect of the international standards. This course is designed for aviation personnel dealing with operations and subject to the use of radiotelephony to communicate with aircrafts or other ground stations, as well as any person willing to get knowledge of the matter. Course content pursuant to ICAO Annex 1 / Chap.4 / 4.6.1.2 and ICAO Annex 6 / Chap.4 / 4.6.

AIR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

This initial course on Air Traffic Management will explain the main functions of Air Traffic Control (ATC), define its purpose, and how it is organised. The aim of this course is to understand the relationship between pilots, air traffic control services, aircraft operators, to get the global picture of how the air traffic management system works. This course is a prerequesite to our classroom sessions on flight planning. Course content pursuant to ICAO Annex 1 / Chap.4 / 4.6.1.2 and ICAO Annex 6 / Chap.4 / 4.6.

PERSONNEL LICENSING

This course module is a general introduction to the licensing system governing aviation operations personnel, according to ICAO and EASA standards. The aim of this course is to familiarise general public with the licensing process for each branch of civil aviation concerned personnel. This basic course is helpful for aviation personnel beginners, as well as any person seeking knowledge in the field. Course content pursuant to ICAO Annex 1 / Chap.4 / 4.6.1.2 and ICAO Annex 6 / Chap.4 / 4.6.
