METEOROLOGY PART VI : METEOROLOGICAL HAZARDS FOR AVIATION
This module takes the acquired knowledge of the previous lessons on meteorology and focuses on the hazardous consequences that may arise from the studied meteorological phenomena, and specifically when it comes to aviation.

Welcome to our sixth module on Meteorology for Aviation.
This lesson will show you how the weather can be dangerous for aviation, by explaining the different hazards associated to certain weather conditions and phenomena. It will help you identify these hazards and the ways of prevention.
Module sub-parts and themes:
-The main hazards from small scale lows
-Cumulonimbus cloud hazards
-Microbust
-Icing
-Poor visibility
-The different types of fog
You must follow the module in the imposed order.
At the end, a quiz is proposed in order to evaluate your knowledge level. Afterwards, you will be able to come back to the lesson you’ve learned.
